Poems of Unreason

Day 17 of 28 Days of Unreason

“Saw a poem float by just beneath the surface” – Jim Harrison

On pretty paper
boats tossed around by the storm
clouds that fill your eyes
swell with violent unshed tears
stain the cusp and fetch poems.

The Window

Watercolor splash
sunset shadow play canvas
inky leaves hover
over rooftops and sizzle-
sift through wide open windows.

Lillian is hosting over at dVerse today and asks us to write about the view from our windows, looking in/looking out.
